StreetWatch, from PhoneWatch, is a new personal safety app with superior functionality to pinpoint your exact location and alert your chosen key contacts if you’re in trouble. It also allows you to locate the nearest Garda stations and hospitals. It means help is never too far away.

Features of StreetWatch
•Key Contacts
You may assign up to three key contacts who are there to respond if you need their help. When you trigger your Help alarm or don’t check-in after you complete a journey within a specified time, your key contacts will receive a free SMS with a link to your most recent location. You will receive a delivery receipt direct to your app. It means help is never too far away.
Helpful Tip! Please remember to choose close and reliable friends or family members as your key contacts – you may need to rely on them in an emergency.

•Help Alarm
StreetWatch quickly notifies your key contacts when you feel threatened or unsafe. When you trigger your Help Alarm your key contacts will receive a free SMS with a link to your most recent location. It means help is never too far away.

•My Journeys
Whether you are about to head out on your evening jog, jumping into a taxi on a night out or travelling home in the evening, My Journeys helps you to keep in contact with your key contacts. All you have to do is specify where you are going and how long this journey should take.
Then simply check-in when you arrive safely. If you do not check-in to say you have arrived safely, a free SMS is sent to your key contacts asking them to contact you along with a link to your most recent location.
Remember, you are in control, you decide whether you want to be tracked on a journey or not.

•Emergency Services
StreetWatch can give you emergency assistance whenever you need it by directing you to the nearest Garda station or hospital. By clicking on the hospital icon or the Garda station icon within the app you can access their contact details page and you will be provided with walking directions straight to their door.

•Safety Tips
This is a feature containing some very useful personal safety tips, whether you are jogging, on a night out or simply out walking alone, these tips will give you great advice on keeping safe anywhere, anytime.
